For this project, I started by reviewing a LinkedIn tutorial to familiarize myself with creating animations, as I had limited experience in that area. I decided to create an animated video on the evolution of education, a topic I had been exploring recently. Using Adobe Animate, I experimented with different layouts, templates, and objects to bring my idea to life. The story follows two students walking and discussing the topic, with elements such as a park background, two characters, a flying parrot, a jumping squirrel, and text titles. I used various animation effects, including classic and motion tweens for the characters and additional effects for the squirrel and sun. I also applied filters like Drop Shadow and Gradient Glow to the text and included subtle credits.
After assembling the animation, I added sound effects to mark transitions between stages and a final bird sound for atmosphere. I then exported the project, imported it into iMovie, and added a royalty-free background song from Incompetech to complement the animation. I recorded a voiceover to guide the story and finalized the video by assembling all the elements together. Once the project was complete, I exported the final MP4 file and uploaded it to my YouTube channel. You can view the finished animation through the provided link.
Watch the video, and let's discuss this important topic further!
